A chance to engage in professional dialogue with other leaders
8th September 2016
Professional Learning and Networking Session with School Leaders Network.
This topic was identified from feedback obtained at our recent leadership conference. Due to rapid and complex educational change within our schools, many leaders expressed a desire to share leadership experiences, successes and needs with others. Through this process leaders may gain ideas for further investigation and application within their school context.
This leadership forum will run as an 'unconference' where you opt into table topics on the day. We expect that at least two topics will be discussed in the time allowed.
Table topics will include:
- Leading difficult conversations
- Raising Māori and Pasifika achievement
- Leading collaborative teams
- Supporting diverse learning needs
- Engaging student voice
- Building community partnerships
- Supporting school transitions
- Maintaining effective communication
- Building teacher capacity for leadership
As always our intention with these events is to strengthen our school leadership networks.
